Meet our landscape design team
Tim is a leader in the industry, thanks to his work as a landscape architect and his years of design-build experience. While practicing his craft, he also taught landscape architecture for several years at Kansas State University. You can trust him with any size project, from small planting designs to sophisticated, engineered water systems.
As a boy, surrounded by German gardens and plantsmen, Sandro's love of plants came early and naturally. He was inspired to formally study horticulture by the beauty he saw in the gardens at Muskau Park, and received a Masters of Science in Horticulture from Freie Universität Berlin, one of Germany's leading research universities. For the past 13 years, Sandro has gained experience in landscape design and landscape construction management, bringing a wealth of plant and construction knowledge to our landscape design process.
Christoph "Chris" Odenthal
Christoph received his MA in Landscape Architecture from the Technische Universität Dresden, Germany in 2018 while designing private gardens for his own firm. While working and studying in Germany and Italy, he won numerous prizes and honors, including a scholarship from the German government (Deutschlandstipendium) for his outstanding accomplishments in Urban Design.
Early on, Chris completed a landscaping apprenticeship that taught him practical and creative approaches to open space design that greatly influence his work as a designer today. Now, Chris specializes in sustainable, climate-friendly design while emphasizing creative ways to integrate water into urban and public spaces.
Heather is a Certified Landscape Designer through the Association of Landscape Designers (APLD) since 1997. Her focus has been on residential landscape design, including hardscapes, plantings and perennial gardens. She has worked on everything from a small city bungalow to a multi-acre national historic landmark property on the north shore. Three of her projects have won ILCA Excellence in Landscape Awards.
As the Design Team Coordinator, Heather incorporates this experience as she works with our design team to guide and coordinate the entire process, from the first consult through the installation.
Brennan’s inspiration for landscape design comes from his background in art & design with a focus on painting. For several years he worked at the Chicago Botanic Garden, where he cultivated his passion for landscape design. He began as a paid intern and was quickly hired as an assistant horticulturist where he supervised landscape maintenance crews, as well as designed, installed and maintained the Garden’s stunning annual displays. Brennan’s background also includes working in the private sector for a design-build firm and finally landing here at Greenwise to help us continue creating beautiful, sustainable landscape designs.
