Greenwise was founded in 2007 with a simple but revolutionary mission: prove that organic lawn care could deliver results equal to or better than conventional chemical treatments. At the time, the industry was dominated by synthetic fertilizers and harsh pesticides, and most people believed organic alternatives simply couldn't compete.

We set out to change that perception. Through years of research, testing, and refinement, we developed a comprehensive organic program that builds healthy soil, promotes thick turf, and naturally resists weeds and pests. Today, we're proud to serve hundreds of families and businesses across Chicago and Milwaukee with lawn care they can feel good about.

Our commitment to organic lawn care isn't just a marketing slogan — it's who we are. We use only OMRI-listed organic fertilizers and natural weed control products. No synthetic chemicals. No exceptions. Ever.

Battery powered equipment

Battery-Powered Landscape Maintenance

In 2019, we made another industry-leading commitment: transition our fleet to battery-powered electric equipment. Gas-powered mowers, trimmers, and blowers are major sources of air pollution and noise. Electric equipment eliminates emissions, reduces noise by up to 50%, and provides a better experience for both our crews and your neighbors.

Today, nearly all of our Chicagoland service areas are fully electric, with battery-powered equipment used exclusively in approximately 12-15 communities including Evanston, Glencoe, Highland Park, Kenilworth, Wilmette, Winnetka, and many others.

We continue to expand our battery-powered service to more communities throughout Chicagoland.

Giving Back to Our Communities

We believe successful businesses have a responsibility to support the communities they serve. That's why we partner with local organizations, donate services to community projects, and sponsor environmental education programs.
