Ridgeville Parks Unity Soccer Festival

Greenwise is proud to sponsor and participate in the Ridgeville Parks Unity Soccer Festival, an annual event that brings the Evanston community together through the beautiful game of soccer. This festival promotes community unity while supporting youth programming through the Ridgeville Park District.

Community Unity Through Sports

The Ridgeville Parks Unity Soccer Festival was created five years ago with the idea that sports can bring communities together. This annual event takes place the second week of July and includes live music, food, activities for children, and of course, soccer games that bring people together.

The Ridgeville Parks Unity Soccer Festival creates a space where community members can come together, regardless of soccer experience or skill level. Teams include players of all abilities, from those who have never played before to avid soccer players, all coming together for a common purpose.

Supporting Youth Programming

Each team participating in the Ridgeville Parks Unity Soccer Festival donates fifty dollars to the Ridgeville Park District Scholarship Fund. This fund enables children to participate in camps and programming who might not otherwise have access to these opportunities.

Supporting the Ridgeville Parks Unity Soccer Festival allows Greenwise to contribute to youth programming in our community while participating in an event that brings people together around shared values of community and inclusion.

Greenwise Team Participation

Greenwise fielded a team for the Ridgeville Parks Unity Soccer Festival, bringing together team members with varying levels of soccer experience. Some team members had never played soccer before, while others were more experienced players, all coming together to participate in this community event.
