We Strongly Recommend Pretreatment with Eco-Friendly Ice Melt
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch in effect from Sunday (1/27) morning throughout late Sunday night for the potential of significant ice accumulation in excess of a quarter of an inch.
We strongly recommend pretreatment with our eco-friendly ice melt first thing Sunday morning, to prepare for and prevent possible ice build-up. Our eco-friendly ice melt will melt up to the ½ inch of snow or ice that falls on top of it and will facilitate future ice removal, making it the ideal service during the weather conditions we are expecting.
We will be running pretreatment crews early Sunday morning and are compiling the route today. If you would like to be included in this service, please reply to this email or call the Greenwise Snowline at (224) 577-9473. The cost of de-icing pretreatment service is $50 per bag of eco-friendly ice melt applied: Most residential properties in our service area require about one bag of ice melt to protect their sidewalks, entranceways and walkways.
