Service Alert for Thursday, 2/7: Snow Routes Activated at 6 p.m.

As predicted, this afternoon’s snow accumulation reached the 2-inch trigger necessary to activate our snow removal service routes at 6 this evening. At that time, our crews began servicing properties with the goal of completing all of our routes within 8 hours.

The current forecast is for snow accumulation to taper off after midnight tonight but for temperatures to remain at or below freezing for the next 48 hours.

Our Greenwise Snowline at (224) 577-9473 is now active and will remain so for the duration of the event, so please do not hesitate to call us with your questions, concerns or special requests.

We will be continually monitoring the situation and updating you via email when conditions warrant it.

We strongly recommend applying ice melt today to treat ice and snow build-up and eliminate hazardous walking environments. Our eco-friendly ice melt will also melt up to ½ inch of snow accumulation and will facilitate future ice removal, making it the ideal service during the weather conditions we are currently experiencing.
