Bringing the garden into the living space
A bustling family desired an improved outdoor space contrasting the existing stark masonry walls and concrete patio. Through thoughtful design consideration, we were able to re-conceptualize how to manage the grade change of this backyard to create integrated planting and outdoor living spaces. We created this dynamic garden with natural stone terraces, a modern large-format paver patio, and diversified plantings. The drought-tolerant plantings are inspired by the woodland edge with seasonal color and interest.
