Chicago is Dog City! For a place that is biologically unnatural for any animal that innately yearns to spend its day herding sheep, pulling sleds, or hunting fowl, Chicago sure has a lot of Canines. Instead of Dog Sleds we have dog beaches; there are no hunting grounds, yet we have dog parks on every corner; and there are no sheep here, yet we can take our dogs out to a restaurant for lamb. In Chicago there is one thing that all dog owners can agree on, the incredible value of having a place with a yard. And I am no exception.My little white Sheep Herder Ozzie, and I searched for nearly eight months before finding a place with a beautiful green fenced-in yard.
In life, things seem to come together at the right time. I had always heard about abilities of dogs to attract the opposite sex, yet I had never experienced Ozzie's magic until the day he met Lindsay.
Lindsay just so happened to have a big black Sheep Herder named Cody... Actually, Cody has an adorable and attractive human named Lindsay, who also happened to be looking for a beautiful green fenced in yard.
Lindsay and I started GreenWISE because of our love for dogs, yards, and... each other. The rest is history.
